This book by Jim and Susan Wood chronicles the origins and ministry of Wears Valley Ranch while probing the true depth, meaning and implications of God's love for those who are in Christ Jesus.
  • The inspirational true story of the founding of Wears Valley Ranch.

As I have watched the development of Wears Valley Ranch, I have felt it a privilege to support Jim and Susan in their vital and faithful work with children. God has faithfully provided for Wears Valley Ranch, and a big part of His provision was to give the vision to Jim and Susan Wood. Under their leadership it has become an example of a safe and happy haven for children. This book gives us a delightful and inspiring look beneath the surface where the evidence of God's gracious hand and His enduring faithfulness is even more dramatic.

  • By popular demand, Susan Wood has penned an inspiring sequel to her top selling book A Place to call Home. Living in the Promised Land brings us up to date on the story of a remarkable ministry and a remarkable family - which now includes 3 biological and 4 adopted children!
  • A beautiful presentation of the Gospel and basic Christian doctrine using the words of Scripture and spectacular color photography aimed at children. It has been printed in Romanian and Russian and is being distributed to orphans through our partnership with New Hope Ministries. Last summer, Jim and his son Clayton made a trip to Moldova, the poorest country in Eastern Europe. Their goal was to encourage brothers and sisters there who work with orphans and to assess practical ways to help them. The trip inspired Jim’s wife Susan to tackle her first children's book. She wanted to present the gospel in simple terms and to give the orphans the only gift that will last forever. With help from Andrew Wood, Susan began putting together Do you know the Way? a book that presents the gospel to children using the words of Scripture. Ministry leaders in Moldova translated the book, and it was first published in Russian and Romanian, the languages of the orphans with whom they work. Hardcover, 86 pages, 8" x 10 1/2" English version.
