Anna Karen Whitaker, age 78, of Knoxville passed away Thursday afternoon, June 17, 2021, at Ft. Sanders Medical Center.

Karen truly enjoyed studying scripture with her Ladies Bible Group. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Max Drake and Josephine Shaffer Drake; sisters, Wanda Long and June Lambert; brother, Francis Drake.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Doyle Whitaker; son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Missi Fisher of Hurricane, West Virginia; grandchildren, Blaine Lantz and husband Chase, Casey Templeton, Ryan Fisher and Sierra Fisher; great grandchildren, Cooper, Boston, Leighton and Hudson; sister, Edith Kay Ince of West Virginia; brother, Karell Drake of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service Details:

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 24 at the Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1 p.m.

Private graveside services will be held.
