Teens from Saint Andrew’s School visited Tennessee Center for Applied Technology (TCAT) in Morristown, Tennessee. There they learned about vocational training available after high school graduation. TCAT instructors provided information about a variety of opportunities to receive certifications and placements in well paying jobs with little or no college debt.

The Morristown location of TCAT offers certificates in administrative office, automotive, building construction, collision repair, computer aided design, computer information technology, digital graphic design, heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration (HVAC), industrial technology and maintenance, machine tool, pipefitting and plumbing, practical nursing, and welding. The school shared how local industry is moving to the area because of the partnerships formed with TCAT to train the workforce.

Students learned how about jobs that provide nice salaries without the commitment of college time and debt. They also were reminded the importance of seeking the Lord for wisdom in all choices – including career. God can use these young people wherever He leads them.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share this information with our students. TCAT provided a wonderful tour and window into available careers after graduation from Saint Andrew’s School!

Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23
