OUR VISION: To see each child INSPIRED to follow Christ, HEALED from their past, and EQUIPPED to reach their full potential.

Since the first child came to us in 1992, we have pointed them to Jesus as the author of true success in life. We are grateful to share a few of the stories:

John Bowling came to WVR in August 2001 and graduated from St Andrew’s School in May 2009. For two weeks this summer, John returned to serve at Camp Arrowwood as camp nurse. John has been working summers at Camp Arrowwood since his graduation from St. Andrew’s. He got word during camp that he has been accepted into the University of Louisville School of Medicine where he plans to pursue his dream of becoming a physician. John writes, “My acceptance was very much a surprise. I had been waitlisted since April, and as the months rolled by, I knew my chances were pretty slim. But an eleventh hour position opened up, and I got the call. It was exciting and fitting that I found out during camp, because it’s been such an important place for me for so many years. I’m excited to know it’s only another step in a long journey, but I am full of gratitude for all who have made this possible.”

David Grafton was a student at St. Andrew’s from November 1993 to April 1997. He graduated from the University of Tennessee. He is married to Jessica, and they now have two beautiful children, Skylar Marie and Desmond James. The family lives in Knoxville where he is the owner of Cartridge World. David said, “The Ranch was instrumental in pointing me to Christ. My relationship with Jesus and the commands in Scripture have shaped how I manage my business and relationships. Honesty, hard work and integrity were taught at the Ranch. That has shaped how I treat my customers and staff. Most importantly, these values are important in how I value my wife and children.”

Jordan Branch graduated from St. Andrew’s School in 2000. He now has a Doctorate in Biblical Counseling. He and his wife Jessica have three children: Nathan, Lillian and Bryce. The family lives in Lakewood, Colorado, where he serves as Lead Pastor/Elder of Calvary Church Lakewood.

These stories and many others encourage us! As you pray for our current students, please also remember our former students who have moved on from the Ranch. Pray for the salvation of those who have not yet surrendered to Jesus as Lord.

Following Jesus is the mark of true success!
