Arriving at Wears Valley Ranch when he was seven years old, now sixteen-year-old Michael has been exposed to countless Bible studies and dozens of staff who have encouraged him to serve the Lord. Last summer, Michael expressed a desire to be baptized and is now planning to join his church, RIO Revolution, for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The mission trip is slated for late June 2018.

Michael shares that this will be his first trip leaving the United States. He is very excited to experience different cultures. The mission trip will allow him to share the love of Christ by serving others.

Michael’s story is just one example of how the prayers and support of those who feel called to participate in the ministry of Wears Valley Ranch are making an eternal difference in the lives of children. In Michael’s case, that eternal difference is being passed on to others. We praise God for our supporters and the children who are being changed.

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28: 19,20
