“By the grace of God, I am passionate about serving my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Jordan came to the Ranch when he was 19 years old, an exception to the normal rule. The Wood family knew Jordan from the church they served in Atlanta. “They knew I had in many ways fallen through the cracks,” explains Jordan. “Academically, I was way behind. Emotionally, I was confused. Spiritually, I knew the gospel, but I was not following Jesus.”

Each student who comes to the Ranch is tested to see where they are academically. Jordan’s testing revealed he had a capacity to learn, but he had some catching up to do. Jordan would not graduate from St. Andrew’s School and leave the Ranch until he was 20 years old. However, God was planning great things for Jordan. He went on to graduate college and seminary, both with honors.

Since leaving the Ranch, Jordan graduated with honors from both Boyce College and Southeastern Seminary. He is on pace to complete his doctorate in Biblical Counseling through Southeastern Seminary this December. Jordan and his wife Jessica and their three children now live in the Denver, Colorado, area where Jordan pastors Calvary Church Lakewood. Thank you to everyone who provides prayers and support to give young people like Jordan another chance.
