A message from Susan Wood:

“Jim is sleeping upright in a recliner. Last night, he made it through the night without waking me for help. This morning, he asked if I could find out who made the surgical heart pillow he holds against his chest. He wants to write a review. He recounted 4 or 5 people discussing what a help this little pillow was for them during recovery. It’s amazing how much a little pillow brings comfort. He discussed the idea that the person who created it must have had open heart surgery…. When he first got it at the hospital, he thought it was cute, but had no idea the role it would play in his recovery process. He tried a regular pillow when he forgot to bring the heart pillow downstairs. He described it as the difference between insoles in your shoes and having someone standing on your foot. These are the sweet, non-work related discussions we have. He has lost 23 lbs. in less than 2 weeks. He gained 18 lbs in one day, and he advocates against this as a diet plan. He definitely needs on-going prayers for physical healing and emotional stability. It’s truly wonderful in the truest sense of the word to have loyal brothers and sisters standing with us. Thanks so much!”

Your continued prayers for a full recovery are very much appreciated!
